WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Roberts track and field team headed south over the weekend to compete in the 56th Annual Colonial Relays hosted by the College of William & Mary.
This is just the second outdoor meet of the season for Roberts after the team hosted a small mid-March "Redhawks Invitational."
"Getting a chance to compete outdoors in favorable conditions will jump start our team's performances as the season moves on," said head coach
Mark McCown.
The Redhawks turned in plenty of impressive performances for early in the outdoor season while competing against over 30 other institutions.
Senior
Abigail Gostomski placed sixth in the 800m race with a time of 2:14.80, her second-best time in the event.
Bailey Gostomski ran nearly nine seconds faster in the 1500m from her last race at the Redhawks Invitational. The senior placed 14th overall at the Colonial Relays with a time of 4:40.39.
