ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University women's soccer team ranks third in the East Coast Conference Preseason Poll that was released by the ECC this morning.

Roberts, which is coming off a 14-4-2 season in 2022, received 61 points in voting conducted by conference coaches. Mercy, the defending ECC champion, received eight first-place votes to top the poll with 80 points. Molloy received one first-place vote and totaled 69 points.

The Redhawks return several top performers from last season's squad that finished third during the regular season and advanced to the semifinal round of the ECC Championships. Roberts also reached the semifinals of the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament last fall.

Roberts opens the 2023 regular season at Lake Erie College at 1 p.m. on Aug. 31. The Redhawks open the ECC season on Sept. 16 at home against Lincoln (Pa.) University.
