ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan University men's lacrosse player Brady Kustra has been selected the East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the opening week of the 2024 season.
Kustra a sophomore from Buffalo, N.Y., collected a team-high six ground balls and caused five turnovers in the Redhawks' 15-6 win over Dominican University of New York on Saturday.
He also added two assists.
The Redhawks play their first home game of the season against Seton Hill at noon on Saturday. The Griffins are ranked ninth in the most recent NCAA Division II poll.
