ROCHESTER, NY – Graduate student Owen White and senior Jackson Doran each placed second in their events to lead the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Track and Field team at the Friday night RIT Meet.
White was second with a time of 4:23.48 and senior Landon Schreib was sixth in the race with his time of 4:32.23.
Senior Jackson Doran was second in the 800 with a time of 1:59.57.
Junior Corden Zimmerman had a pair of fourth-place finishes as he took fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.42 seconds and was also fourth in the pole vault with a final height of 4.30 meters (14' 1 ¼").
In the 1000-meter race, freshman Juvenal Diaz-Cortes was fifth in 2:41.64 and Schreib was sixth in 2:41.81.
Both runners were joined by sophomore Micah Barber and Doran to place third in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:42.27.
A contingent of Roberts athletes will compete Saturday at the Midwest Open Meet at the Spire Academy in Ohio.
