COLONIA, NJ – Sophomore goalkeeper Mia Tyndell from the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Soccer team made nine saves in the 0-0 tie with Mercy over the weekend and has been rewarded by the East Coast Conference (ECC) weekly award as the co-Defensive Player of the Week.

Tyndell recorded her third shutout of the season with five saves in a 0-0 tie with Mercy who is ranked #11 in the country and #1 in the region over the weekend. The five saves pushed her career total over 100 in just her second season. The tie kept the Redhawks tied for the No. 3 position in the ECC standings (with Mercy) with two ECC games remaining on the schedule.
