COLONIA, NJ – The Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Track and Field team opened the 2025-26 season at multiple locations on the first weekend of the season and two athletes earned East Coast Conference (ECC) Weekly Honor Roll recognition for their efforts as graduate student Jackson Doran and sophomore Diego Arellano Jasso were each named to the Honor Roll.
Doran placed second overall in the 3K race at the Youngstown State Icebreaker Meet in Ohio over the weekend. He clocked a time of 8:45.61 to finish second out of 26 runners. The time ranks him second in the East Region this year.
Arellano Jasso opened the season with a seventh-place finish overall in the Heptathlon at the season opening Liberty Kickoff Meet in Lynchburg, Virginia. He finished seventh out of 13 competitors with a score of 4,429. He recorded personal best marks in the 60-meter dash (7.61 seconds), shot put (10.36 meters/34' 0"), 60-meter hurdles (8.93 seconds) and the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:57.83.
