GREENVILLE, SC – Freshman Ryan DeJohn has had two consecutive matches of more than 20 kills and his efforts have been recognized by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) with the Association's Division I Men's Volleyball National Player of the Week award.
DeJohn stayed hot as he recorded his second consecutive 20-kill effort with 26 kills to lead. He led the offense and had a .326 attack percentage along with 10 digs to complete a second double-double for the season. The 26 kills in a match tied a school record set last year by Griffin Monrad.
The strong offensive effort led the Redhawks to a thrilling 3-1 road win over East Coast Conference (ECC) foe Dominican University.
