ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's volleyball team will welcome five first-year student-athletes for the 2026 season.
The incoming class includes two players from Illinois and one from Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York.
The Redhawks, who are in their third season of NCAA Division II play, open their season at D'Youville on Thursday.
Let's meet the newest members of the Redhawks:

Major: Engineering/Physics
Before Roberts: Named Player of the Year by the Butler Eagle and named first-team all-state in 2025 … Registered 332 kills and led Seneca Valley to the WPIAL championship match as a senior … Set school record for blocks … Won a national AAU title and was named an 18U Elite All-American.
Why did you choose Roberts: "Roberts stood out to me because it had a very good engineering program, as well as a very good volleyball program. It was also far enough from home that I feel like I'm on my own, but close enough to where if I were to need something or wanted to go home for a weekend I very easily could."

Why did you choose Roberts: "I started playing volleyball at age 9 and felt that Roberts offered the best opportunity for me to continue my growth as a student, athlete and person."

Why did you choose Roberts: "I chose Roberts because it was a great atmosphere on my visit and the volleyball team is filled with a great group of guys."
