PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Roberts Wesleyan University Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams will be looking to defend their Women's Title from 2025 and improve on the second-place Men's finish from 2025 at the Metropolitan Collegiate Championships from February 13-15 at the Sonny Werblin Recreational Center in New Jersey.
The teams will be counting on strong contributions from the international student-athletes on both squads to be in contention for team titles in 2026.
The Roberts Men will be led by Sophomore Antoine Pieterse who was voted the Swimmer of the Meet in 2025 and fellow sophomore Tanner Pinto-Cohn who was named the Rookie of the Meet last season. Pieterse, from South Africa, is one of the international students on the Roberts men's roster that look to be at the top of the standings in individual events for the Redhawks.
Fellow international swimmers, freshmen Raphael Weber from France and Asher Banda, from Malawe will be in the lanes for the Redhawks.
For the Roberts Wesleyan Women's team, senior Joane Arzalluz-Garzon, from Spain, and freshman Skye Micklethwaite, from South Africa, will look to lead the women to podium finishes. Senior diver Emma Dicob was the Diver of the Meet in 2025 and has already earned a chance to qualify for the 2026 Division II Championships along with junior diver Sidney Simmons.
