BOSTON, MA – Graduate student Jackson Doran clocked a new school record in the Mile run Friday afternoon at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational Meet hosted by Boston University.
In a largely NCAA Division I field, Doran placed 72nd overall and was 10th in his heat as he ran a new school record time of 4:05.17. The old school record – also held by Doran of 4:06.86 – was set in 2024.
The time also moves him to No. 29 in the country and No. 1 in the East Region.
Jackson will join the rest of his Redhawk teammates on Staten Island for the East Coast Conference (ECC) Championships Sunday afternoon.
