ERIE, Pa. - Roberts Wesleyan men's tennis suffered an 8-1 defeat at Edinboro Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
The Redhawks' lone win of the day came at sixth singles as
Guilherme Plentz de Liz downed the Fighting Scots' Thomas McCoy in a competitive 6-7(4), 6-4, 10-8.
At first singles,
Charles Farres fell to Victor Albanese 7-6(5), 6-1 as
Robert Beer was edged by Camilo Moncayo, 6-4, 6-4.
The loss puts the Redhawks at 6-4 overall on the year while Edinboro remained undefeated at 8-0.
Roberts Wesleyan is off until March 5 when they travel to take on Division I program, Colgate.
