ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan men's tennis picked up a 6-3 road win at nearby foes, RIT, Tuesday afternoon.
Senior standout
Charles Farres led the Redhawks as he defeated RIT's Chandler Daub at first singles in the deciding match 6-4, 5-7, 6-1. Farres also teamed up with
Robert Beer at first doubles to edge Daub and Ben Lynaugh, 8-6.
Jose Maria Carrillo also picked up a close match at third singles by taking down Lynaugh 6-3, 7-6.
The win snapped a three-match skid for Roberts Wesleyan as they improved to 7-6 on the year. Up next on the schedule is a trip south to Houghton for a match on Thursday at 4 p.m.
