ERIE, Pa. – Roberts Wesleyan men's tennis dropped a road match at Mercyhurst, 9-0, Thuesday afternoon in non-conference action.

Charles Farres and
Robert Beer played a pair of competitive matches for the Redhawks as they both went into three sets. At first single, Farres fell to the Lakers' Nenad Terzic 3-6, 6-2, 7-5. At second singles Beer played a back-and-forth match to Joaquin Aguilera 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 10-7.

Jose Lopez Tapia also dropped a close match at fourth singles, which ended in favor of Mercyhurst's Travis Beck 6-3, 7-5.

In doubles action, Farres and Beer fell 8-5 to Beck and Terzic.

The loss puts the Redhawks at 6-6 overall as they prepare to take on RIT next Tuesday.
