ANNAPOLIS, MD – Freshman Natalee Lawrence made an immediate impact for the Roberts Wesleyan University Field Hockey team in 2025 as she led the team with seven goals in a record-breaking season for the Redhawks. Lawrence earned a national award for her efforts as she has been named to the Synapse Sports Division II All-Rookie Team.
Lawrence, from Sanborn, New York and Starpoint High School, scored her first career goal in a 3-1 win over St. Thomas Aquinas College in just the third game of the season and scored a goal against another future East Coast Conference (ECC) foe D'Youville three games later.
She added the first-ever hat trick in school history with a trio of goals in a 5-3 victory over Coker College on the St. Louis trip for the team in mid-October and capped her team-leading goals total with a pair of goals in the win at Elmira.
Lawrence established school records for goals in a season, points in a season, goals and points in a game and all of the freshman scoring records for Roberts.
