COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Sophomores Makena Tooley and Mary Catherine Maloney led the Roberts Wesleyan University Field Hockey team to a record-breaking season and have each been selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region team as announced by the association Wednesday.

Tooley was tied for the team lead with 14 points on six goals and two assists this season and led the Redhawks with 34 shots including 22 shots of goal.

Maloney was a standout on the defensive end of the field as she started and played nearly every minute of every game this season. She led the team to a seven-win season including wins over future East Coast Conference (ECC) foes Mercy, Molloy, St. Thomas Aquinas and D'Youville. The official ECC Field Hockey conference schedule begins in 2026.
