ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's lacrosse roster will feature five new players for the upcoming 2026 season.
The newcomers include sophomore
Colin Duncan and newcomers
Nixon Karcz,
Julien Montalvo,
Owen Scott and
Duncan Truax.
Each will be counted on to put forth a maximum effort to contribute to the team in any way possible.
"I think the biggest thing is the opportunities that they can have," Redhawks coach
Rocky Delfino Jr. said. "If they take advantage of their opportunities, they can go far with it. The biggest thing for any newcomer right now is that you take what you get, you run with it and you don't stop."
Roberts opens its season on Monday at Malone University in Canton, Ohio.

Position: Attack
Hometown: North Chili, N.Y.
High School/College: Churchville-Chili/University at Albany
Major: Homeland Security and Applied Intelligence
Before Roberts: Attended the University at Albany … Saw action April 1 vs. Cornell … Scored 159 goals and added 50 assists in four varsity seasons at Churchville-Chili … Scored 43 goals with eight assists as a senior … Named Second-Team All-County once and Honorable Mention once during high school career.

Hometown: Jordan, N.Y.
High School: Jordan-Elbridge
Major: Physical Education
Before Roberts: Four-year varsity player and four-time All-League selection … Scored 44 goals and had 24 assists as a senior … Second all-time leading scorer in lacrosse at J-E with 239 points (161 goals, 78 assists) … Also played football and basketball in high school … Rushed for 940 yards and 8 touchdowns as a senior.

Before Roberts: Set Seton Catholic school record with 756 saves in career …Named fifth-team all-state as a senior … Also played golf.
Why I chose Roberts: "The coach offered me a spot on the lacrosse team and they have a good computer science program."

Hometown: St. Catharines, Ontario
High School: Winston Churchill
Major: Criminal Justice
Before Roberts: Served as captain of the lacrosse, volleyball and basketball teams at Winston Churchill … Long pole defender was named Team MVP and Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.
Why I chose Roberts: "It was close to home, and I liked the players and coaches on my visit."

Hometown: Delano, Minn.
High School: Delano
Major: Marketing
Before Roberts: Three-year team captain helped lead Delano to 11-2 record while earning team MVP his senior season … Named lacrosse team's top rookie as a freshman … Selected Defensive MVP as a junior … Also played hockey and lettered in football.
