COLONIA, NJ – Sophomore leading scorer Lia MacDougall and freshman Brooke Guelli led the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Lacrosse team over the weekend in an overtime game against Bentley and have been honored by the East Coast Conference (ECC) with selection to the Weekly Honor Roll. 

MacDougall scored three goals in the fourth quarter as Roberts battled back to tie the game at 9-9 before falling late in the first overtime period Saturday against Bentley. MacDougall also recorded career-highs with five ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. She leads the ECC with 12 goals and is second in the statistical standings with 4.0 goals per game. 

Guelli made her first appearance for Roberts and helped the offense to force overtime before falling 10-9 to Bentley in the extra period. The freshman finished with two goals and an assist for three points and added a ground ball and two caused turnovers. 

Roberts has a pair of games this week with a Wednesday home game against Southern New Hampshire University and plays at Assumption University Sunday.
