Ken Curtis finished his basketball career at Roberts with 1,214 points (13.6 ppg) and 638 rebounds (7.3 rpg) in 89 games. He was a member of the 1964 to 1967 Men’s Basketball Teams inducted into the Halld of Fame. Curtis also held the record for most field goal attempts in a season at 541. After graduation, he married Anne Schmalfuss and was a Charter Member of the college. After the passing of him and his wife in a tragic accident, the Ken Curtis Scholarship and Anne Schmalfuss Cheerleading Award were established to honor their memories.
